Sr. Network Specialist

AIS, Inc. is looking for a Network Architect for a period of one year in Linthicum, MD. The candidate must have an active TS SCI clearance.


The Network Architect is responsible for providing analysis, design, planning and solutions for a high visibility project to aggregate and automate the collection of data from applications residing on different domain classifications of Department of Defense networks and make available to authorized organizations. Responsible for reviewing the existing network infrastructures, developing implementation plans and creating documentation for the execution and integration of technological solutions.  Required Skills:Ability to identify software and hardware products and solutions to meet project requirementsExperience with Department of Defense systems, Information Assurance, Security Technical and Implementation GuidelinesMust have experience designing and implementing Cross Domain Solutions between DoD networks.Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, LAN/WAN services, systems planning and integration, server technologies and virtualization, operating systems and interconnecting networks.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.TS/SCI Eligibility   Desired Skills:DOD 8570 compliantRequirements gathering Qualification and Education Requirements:Security Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active U.S. DoD TS SCI security clearance.
